YouTube TV adds content, but ups the price

YouTube TV, Google’s collection of basic channels for the US market, has added a slate of content from Discovery.
Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, and MotorTrend are all available now, while OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will be added later in the year. Movie channel EPIX is available for an additional charge.
In a blog post, Christian Oestlien, Vice President of Product Management, YouTube TV, explained that in the two years since launch the service had improved its DVR and launched a series of new features.
However, it is also increasing its price to $49.99 a month, $54.99 for those who subscribe through Apple. At launch YouTube TV was $35, increasing to $40 in March 2018.
YouTubeTV currently offers over 70 channels, 6 accounts per household, and a cloud DVR
